Our Projects
1. Establishment of Shelters:
- Goal: Provide a safe and caring shelter for homeless, abandoned, and injured animals.
- Activity: The ARB Trust has set up a shelter that currently houses around 120 dogs, including those with disabilities, old dogs, orphans, and medically vulnerable animals.
- Objective: Offer a home for these animals to regain their strength and live peacefully, with dignity, and safety.
2. Animal Birth Control (ABC) Program:
- Goal: Manage and control the stray animal population humanely and effectively.
- Activity: The ARB Trust conducts regular Animal Birth Control surgeries for both sheltered animals and strays in the community, using private veterinarians to perform the surgeries.
- Objective: Reduce the number of stray animals and promote healthier, more controlled animal populations.
3. Veterinary Care and Treatment:
- Goal: Provide medical care for injured and sick animals, including surgery and ongoing treatment.
- Activity: The ARB Trust provides veterinary services for animals suffering from accidents, fractures, tumors, blindness, lameness, and other medical issues.
- Objective: Ensure that every animal receives the necessary medical treatment and care, including lifelong therapy for severe cases.
4. Establishment of Veterinary Hospitals and Clinics:
- Goal: Create a permanent, fully-equipped veterinary hospital for treating animals, reducing the need to transport animals to external clinics.
- Activity: Build a one-stop facility that will offer a variety of medical services, including x-rays, blood tests, ultrasounds, and surgeries.
- Objective: Ensure easy access to a comprehensive range of treatments for injured and sick animals, while monitoring their progress and recovery in one centralized location.
5. Ambulance Service and Mobile Clinics:
- Goal: Provide quick response and emergency medical care to injured animals.
- Activity: The ARB Trust plans to establish its own ambulance service and mobile clinics to treat injured animals and provide transportation to shelters or hospitals.
- Objective: Ensure that animals in critical condition receive timely treatment and are transported safely for further care when necessary.
6. Outreach and Awareness Programs:
- Goal: Promote responsible pet ownership and the humane treatment of animals.
- Activity: The ARB Trust plans to carry out community outreach programs to educate the public about animal welfare, ABC programs, and the importance of adoption.
- Objective: Encourage a more compassionate society where animals are treated with respect and care.
