About Animal Rain Basera ARB Trust

Development of Shelters for Destitute Animals The first goal that Arb Trust has achieved is to set up Animal Rain Basera on 06th December 2019, Opposite 18/231 Near 18 Block Red Light, Trilok Puri Delhi 11091. It houses around 120 homeless dogs who have found a home to regain their strength and live in peace, dignity and safety. These include many disabled and orthopedically ill dogs, old or senile dogs, orphans, immunocompromised and medically vulnerable dogs undergoing treatment. The shelter also houses many aggressive dogs and abandoned pets who have no hope of finding a safe place.

Carrying out Animal Birth Control (ABC) Programs

According to the World Health Organization, Animal Birth Control (ABC) is the most humane and practical way of managing a controlled and healthy population of neighborhood animals. The courts of law have also agreed with that. The surgery is of the nature that allows a male dog to be released back where it was picked up from, in about three days and a female, in a few more days, as long as all goes well.
The ARB Trust regularly conducts ABC surgeries with the help of private veterinarians for both sheltered animals and neighboring strays.

Providing Treatment and Veterinary Care

The mesery of stray life of animals often needs Veterinary help. Accidents, leading to fractures or spinal injury, tumors, cancers of various types, diverse handicaps including different kinds of blindness, lameness, paralysis, loss of limbs…all these need treatment and lifelong medical attention. One of our main objectives is to treat and give the required therapies and care to those animals in need.
The ARB Trust tries to give the best and special medical attention to such cases who have been admitted to the shelter.

The Future Plans

Veterinary Clinics and Hospitals Veterinary Clinics and Hospitals

The ARB Trst is keen to build up veterinary hospitals for stray and abandoned animals in need. Till now, we have been taking our injured and ill animals outside for veterinary attention. This can be tiring, in terms of logistics, and uncomfortable for the animal that is already in distress. We need to set up a one-stop centre where investigations and treatment of a variety of injuries and illnesses can be done under one roof so that we can monitor the progress of the animals in our care in a better way.

Arb Wants to Build a Veterinary Hospital Where all Kinds of Treatment Can be Done for all Animals and Wild Animals from Ants to Elephants, Which Has Facilities for
X-Rays,Blood Tests,Ultrasound,
all Kinds of Tests and Surgical Operations, Where Animals Can be Saved in any Condition.

The first few hours after an accident or a traumatic event are the most critical for the injured or ill animals. However, because of the lack of our own ambulance, we often run from pillar to post to find transport to pick up the accident victim and to take the victim to a veterinarian. The ARB Trust also hopes to set up Mobile Clinics that can pick up and/or treat accident-hit animals and to carry out on-the-spot treatment for animals that do not require hospitalization.
